Groups at the Shop

"For Mind's Sake" Theological Discussion Forum meets the second and fourth Monday of the month at the shop, 7-9pm. Free and open.

"Follow the Buffalo" writing workshop meets every Tuesday evening from 7-9. Free, and open to all who are interested in sharing their work for critiques.

Salamander Books is located in Baltimore City, MD within the historic district of Mount Vernon, just down from the Walters Art Gallery, Peabody Conservatory and the original Washington Monument. We are always on the lookout for quality used books in the arts (photography, sculpture, painting, architecture, etc.), mythology & folklore, martial arts, spirituality & religion, music & theatre, modern fiction, history, cooking, gardening, literature, or any other material that feeds the creative spirit.
